Habitat for Humanity International was founded in 1976, Habitat Suffolk is an independently operated affiliate of HFHI. Our mission is to work in partnership with thousands of Suffolk County volunteers and responsible, low-moderate income families of all races, religions, and creeds to build and renovate homes so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which people can live and grow.
Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk operates successfully because of our partnership model. We are only successful when all three of these parts exist in partnership: families, donors, and volunteers.
