The mission of Exploration Place is to inspire a deeper interest in science through creative and fun experience. Exploration Place is dedicated to providing informal, enjoyable learning experiences with extraordinary resources for exploration for people of all ages. Our exhibits and programs are STEM focus (science, technology, engineering and science.) Permanent exhibits include Exploring Flight and Design, Exploring Our Only Home, Kansas Kids Connect (a pre-school only gallery), The Castle, Kansas in Miniature. We also feature three different traveling exhibits each year. Annual attendance is more than 200,000, and since opening in April 2000, more than 3 million people have visited.
