Catholic Charities
Founded more than a century and a half ago to care for the orphans of the San Francisco earthquake, Catholic Charities is one of the largest, most comprehensive human services agencies in Northern California, reaching more than 32,000 individuals a year.
An integral part of our communities, Catholic Charities plays a pivotal role in keeping our neighborhoods diverse, productive, safe, and healthy through more than 30 programs in San Francisco, Marin, and San Mateo Counties. Our programs change the lives of individuals, families, children, youth, seniors, those with disabilities, formerly homeless individuals living with HIV/AIDS, and immigrants. We serve everyone.
Catholic Charities creates lasting, data-driven solutions to some of the most pressing challenges in our community - homelessness, aging in isolation, generational poverty, HIV/AIDS, inequality, and immigration to name a few.
